Australian Dental Association
Dr Ferguson is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), the leading professional association for dentists in Australia. Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
Dr. Ferguson is also a member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ANZAOMS).
As the professional representative organisation for the specialty in both nations, ANZAOMS promotes the surgical discipline, sets the standards and supervises surgical training and education for trainee specialists,promotes ethical standards of its members to the highest level, and runs annual conferences to assist in the continuing education of its members.
Australasian Osseointegration Society
The Society is the principal organisation in Australia for dentists who have a developed interest in the area of dental implant treatment, and each year conducts a wide-ranging program of lectures and short courses in all areas relating to dental implants.
